Calf Augmentation (Implants) Before and After Pictures by Sam Gershenbaum, DO

28 year old male from new york with a history of marked asymmetry of his lower legs after traumatic injury and surgery as a child with resultant failure of his right calf to develope properly. he requested calf implants in his right lower extremity to improve symmetry. he is shown here 3 months after medial and lateral calf implants in his right leg. he did require a second procedure to reposition his medial implant as it displaced superiorly a short time after surgery. he has some delayed healing and scalyness of his incision, however this will dramatically improve over time.
