Bridges (Dental Partials) Before and After Pictures by Ballantyne Center for Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, DDS

Farah has been a patient in our Charlotte, North Carolina dental practice for several years. Unfortunately, Farah has congenitally missing front teeth (she was born without them). After all of her permanent teeth erupted she went to an orthodontist to get everything aligned and the spaces evened out. After years in braces she eventually was ready to replace the teeth in the front that were missing. Farah had to wear a retainer all the time that had fake teeth attached to it and she was so excited about getting dental bridges. Finally she would not have to worry about having the teeth come in and out. The procedure in the pictures below is ideal for young people under the age of 20 that are not candidates quite yet for implants. We placed two 3 unit resin/composite bonded bridges over her existing teeth. There was no drilling necessary and no anesthetic or numbing was needed. The complete process took just over an hour and cost thousands of dollars less than traditional bridge work. These composite bridges look beautiful and should last for several years until Farah is old enough to consider dental implants. The bridges you see can be removed without damaging her teeth underneath as well.
