Breast Symmetry Before and After Pictures by Marcus L. Peterson, MD FACS

This 25 year old, mother of one, arranged a consultation with Dr. Marcus Peterson to discuss breat augmentation. She was also very concerned about her lifelong asymmetry in her breasts. The left breast was approximately one cup size larger than the right. The left breast also hung down lower than the right breast. During her consultation, the patient desired to use saline implants for augmentation, and Dr. Peterson suggested also performing a donut mastopexy (lift) on the left breast to help the patient achieve the breast symmetry she had always desired. She was very happy with her result.

The patient wanted her breasts to be the same size. To achieve this, Dr. Peterson perfomed augmentation (saline) on both breasts and a donunt mastopexy (lift) on the left breast. These procedures gave the patient the breast symmetry she had always desired.
