Breast Reconstruction Surgery Before and After Pictures by Tom J. Pousti, MD, FACS

This 32-year old patient from Lake Mills, Wisconsin was interested in breast revision surgery. The patient was status post breast augmentation surgery in 2002 preformed by another surgeon. Due to encapsulation, rippling, and poor cosmetic results, the patient researched for a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and found Dr. Pousti on the Internet. After several consultations via phone and e-mail, the patient decided to go forward with revisionary breast surgery with Dr. Pousti. The patient flew into the San Diego office and schedule for surgery the following day. In order to achieve her desired look, Dr. Pousti performed capsulorrhaphy on both breasts, removed her previous saline breast implants and re-augmented with 800cc moderated plus profile silicone-gel breast implants in both breasts, made by Mentor Corporation. The patient is now 6-months post-op surgery and is very pleased with her results. The patient is keeping in touch and sending pictures via e-mail.
