Details: Is there a great deal of risk associated with brow or forehead lifts? Both surgeries are performed on thousands of men & women each year—with few serious complications. However, as with any surgical procedure, there are clearly some risks. We take many steps to assure your safety during surgery and ask that you help minimize risks by following instructions both before and after surgery. Dr. Berkowitz clearly reviews all risks & instructions with all patients prior to brow lift surgery. How long does recovery take and what should you expect? Immediately after surgery, patients will likely have some bruising and swelling. This typically fades within the first couple of weeks. Ice packs help reduce the swelling and also reduce discomfort. Some patients may have itching or numbness at the incision sites during the healing process. Traditional brow lift techniques require about two weeks for recovery, but patients can expect an even quicker recovery with our advanced techniques. Most patients are thrilled with their immediate results - even if before the swelling resolves. Complete healing does take time, but most patients see final results within just a few months - well worth the wait.

After photos were taken 1 Month after surgery/procedure.
