Details: Are Restylane and BOTOX®cosmetic the same? No! Restylane adds volume to smooth facial wrinkles, creases and folds. Botox also smoothes wrinkles but works differently. Botox works remarkably well for the wrinkles caused by facial expressions. It helps relax the muscles that underly the laugh or frown lines to temporarily soften the appearance of these wrinkles.
