An overly-aggressive procedure could wipe out as many existing follicles as the ones it transplants. That's why Samson Hair Restoration chose an incremental strategy for Gloria C., a 44-year-old homemaker from Valencia, California. It began with transplanting a modest 1,398 grafts at Gloria's first procedure in August, 2006. Another 1,130 grafts were transplanted in March, 2007. The target area was carefully chosen because of a female's proclivity to lose existing hair, often permanently, due to surgery-induced stress.
