This patient is a 27 year-old Brentwood female with DDD pendulous breasts 8 months post-operative bilateral breast reduction with standard wise-pattern reduction This patient obviously had very large breasts pre-operatively. Equally important, she had significant symptoms related to her large breasts, such as neck pain, upper back pain, grooves on her shoulders created from the tension from her bra straps, and rashes underneath her breast creases. In many cases, insurance companies may cover a portion of this procedure, if deemed medically necessary.
