This 37 year old Spanish-speaking patient from Arvada, CO was referred to Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre by her plastic surgeon and gynecologist for vaginal rejuvenation consultation. Dr. Aguirre is bilingual in Spanish and English, born in La Paz, Bolivia, and a Denver Resident since the age of 4. He is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and a fellowship-trained Urogynecologist and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgeon. This patient from Mexico has experienced a complete abscence of vaginal sensation since her 4th vaginal delivery 6 years ago. She also complains of stress urinary incontinence. On exam she has vaginal relaxation with an enlarged, gaping introitus. She underwent an outpatient vaginal surgery consisting of a vaginal rejuvenation procedure (LVR) at the time of a Posterior Prolift (vaginal mesh)and TVT sling. She had an uneventful recovery.
