The field of aesthetics is right for me because I come from a long background of arts and creativity. Being able to blend my experiences from the fashion world, theater and science I have found the perfect melting pot. The gratitude and appreciation that I share with my patients is immeasurable. I have helped to change so many people's lives by giving them joy.

Dr. Dodds has had the experience of training under the tutelage of Dr. David Satcher, former U. S. Surgeon General,  Dr. Patrick Bitter, Jr. and Dr. Stephen Mullholland co-inventors of the original Fotofacial procedure that has been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan and In Style magazine, just to name a few.

Dr. Dodds has training in surgery, is a Dipolomat of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicineand is also Boarded through the American College of Emergency Physicians.  Dr. Dodds has also received additional cosmetic surgical training through apprenticeships in the US and abroad by members of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and by fellowship instructors through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.  Dr. Dodds has also had the distinct privilege to be one of the few Americans  accepted to train personally under and become certified by the prestigious Brazilian Association of Lipoplasty in Porto Alegre, Brazil. 

 Dr. Dodds is highly trained and certified in each procedure that she performs and continues to remain current in the advances and improvements of all cosmetic procedures.  Dr. Dodds also serves as a physician instructor for several companies within the field of aesthetics.   Dr. Dodds and Opulence Aesthetic Medicine have also been named a Microaire Center of Excellence.  Microaire- the leading maker of power-assisted liposuction tools has over 2000 physician users.  Dr. Dodds also serves on the Medical Advisory Board of Erchonia Medical and SBMI while conducting clinical research soon to be published.

Dr. Dodds' work was chosen by The Aesthetic Association -  2010 Best Body MakeOver in Las Vegas, Nevada by her use of combined surgical and non-surgical techniques.

Dr. Nedra Dodds was honored by THE Aesthetic Show with the Best Overall Body MakeOver Award for 2010 in Las Vegas., and recently was selected as the 2011 Winner of the Best Surgical Body Enhancement-  To date, Dr. Dodds has performed over 2000buttock augmentation with body contouring cases, and continues to pursue education and excellence in the field.

Dr. Dodds has been featured on CBS Radio,  “Atlanta & Company” –WXIA (NBC Affiliate ) , "Modern Healing" - WXIA (NBC Affiliate) and has chaired sections of the National Medical Association, lectured internationally, has authored several medical chapters in Emedicine.com. and has also been published in the Annals of Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Dodds is a regular contributor to several  metro-Atlanta community magazines and has been interviewed "blog talk radio".  Dr Dodds and Opulence Aesthetic Medicine is frequently called upon by the aesthetics industry for information on the usage and efficacies of current technology.
