Face Lift Surgery (Rhytidectomy)
This patient has had three procedures recently. Her past medical history is unusual in that she had severe facial injuries to the left side of her face many years ago in a car wreck. This left her with asymmetry, particularly of the left cheek and eye area. Her first procedure was a neck and facelift in April 2011. The results show major improvement in her contour. she had extensive facial fat grafting in February 2012. Notice the huge improvement in her facial balance and the greatly increased smoothness of her skin, as her volume was restored. This is the power of face/neck lifting combined with fat grafting. We expect the fat transfer to last between two to three years in most patients.
