Dr Feiz and his staff are kind and professional. They told me the gastric sleeve was the newest procedure with the fewest complications and least (no) maintenance. It sounded great to me and it has been. The procedure was virtually painless and the recovery short. I dropped a lot of weight quickly with no adverse effects. I have reached my goal weight already and am thrilled with my new shape!

I have lost more than I now weigh after getting the lap band! I could not thank Dr Feiz and his amazing staff enough! I had my surgery in May of 2009 and not a day has gone by that I dont think why didnt I do this sooner. The lapband was the tool I needed to gain control of my out of control eating habits. The band does not DO the work, it is not a quick fix. The band was what helped me change my lifestyle. I now eat to fuel myself not out of boredom or an emotion. I now excersize because it feels good to continue taking care of what i have worked so hard to maintain. The encouragement and support Dr Feiz and his staff have given me has helped along this journey so much. I was the first Patient ambassador, recognizing me for my hard work. Thank you! Thank you for all that you have done and all that you continue to do. 150+ lbs gone and I will never let them come back!

Dr. Feiz performed my gastric sleeve surgery in late September 2011, so it's been just over a year since then. In that time I've lost 80 lbs. and gone from a size 28 to a size 8! I look great. I feel amazing. I am a totally different woman. Before my surgery it was painful on my knees to walk up a flight of stairs. Never mind that I also had to stop to catch my breath as well. My boyfriend and I go biking, hiking, swimming...you name it. On a recent trip to Joshua Tree, he said that I was like a baby colt on new legs. I just couldn't stop climbing things and running around. My two favorite moment in the past year have been these. I used to say that I wanted to lose enough weight to wake up in the morning and put on my boyfriend's jeans by mistake. Well, when dressing for a commercial audition I found that the pants I wanted to wear were too big. So I went into my boyfriends closet and sure enough, he had a pair that were perfect and....THEY FIT! (Anyone who's met my boyfriend knows what a huge deal this is, because he is...to be blunt...a petite guy). My second favorite moment was recently when I visited my family in Florida. My sister took one look at me and said, "Oh My God! Your head looks HUGE!" I just loved that. When I was larger I always watched myself on television and lamented that my head looked positively tiny on that enormous body.

I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I had a lap-band back in 2008, from a horrible doctor. I felt the band never worked properly and I experienced long-term severe side effects. That's when I found Dr. Feiz. I had him remove my band in the spring of 2011 after careful consultation. Dr. Feiz had discovered that my port had turned over and that?s why I was having such problems. The care I received from him, the surgery center, and his staff was absolutely wonderful. They all go above and beyond to help their patients. Since the band was removed my weight has gone up and back down. I contacted Dr. Feiz to see what my other options were. He suggested the Gastric Sleeve. I was debating about another surgery given the unpleasant experiences from the first, but I know under Dr. Feiz's care I have nothing to worry about. I will be sleeved later this month, and I look forward to sharing my results. I've seen a lot of doctors in the past couple years and Dr. Feiz and his associates are in a league all of their own, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
