Ron Knisley weight Loss Surgery: Ron Knisley: I weighed approximately 260 prior to surgery on May 24th 2012. Six months later, I am at 195lbs and continue to lose more! I feel great (actually better than I have felt in more than 20 years). I have no side effects and my energy level amazes me. My blood pressure is consistently at 115/69 with heart rate of 59. For the last several years it has been 140/85. Also, I no longer have heartburn and my wife says I stopped snoring (she especially wants to thank Dr. Feiz for that...LOL). I eat very small amounts and continue to drink my protein drinks. I also take the chewable vitamin & mineral supplements recommended by Dr. Feiz & Associates (4xdaily). Additionally, my wife and I walk/jog 2-3 miles every evening with the dog (dog thanks him too). This has been one of the best decisions I've made in my lifetime.

I went to Dr. Feiz in early 2007 to inquire about getting Gastric Bypass surgery and he spent a great-deal of time explaining the entire procedure to me in great detail. I was impressed with his enormous amount of knowledge and his patience and the time he spent to explain it all. As a patient who is nervous about surgeries he definitely put me at ease with the confidence of his abilities. Once I made my decision to have the surgery Dr. Feiz was diligent in making sure that all the necessary pre-op procedures were completed. He was always there for me when I needed any questions answered and believe me I had a lot. Once the surgery was completed; I had little to no pain and healed very quickly. He gave me some key tips to a speedy recovery. Dr. Feiz is a surgeon above the rest. He has always been there for me. My calls never go unanswered. He is just an amazing surgeon and I am super happy I used him to perform my surgery. His work is impeccable. People cannot believe the lack of scars I have. I highly recommend him as a surgeon. Getting this type of surgery is not one to be taken lightly and having a competent and caring surgeon is important. He is all of that and more. I was 360 lbs when I first stepped into Dr. Feiz office. Nine months later I am down to 257 lbs with a total weight loss off 103 lbs. My life has truly changed for the better. I am able to do things I'd dare not do in the past. I felt good the get on the plan and have the seat belt fasten without asking for an extension. I can go to restaurants and not worry about fitting into booths. The ultimate experience since having the lap-band procedure was walking into a department store and having to ask for a smaller size because the outfit was "too big"! Although my journey continues I know that I will be successful in reaching my weight loss goals with the love and support of Dr. Feiz and his staff. Best deicision of my life. I had the Lap Band surgery on March 22nd 2011, and I'm down 100lbs! Dr. Feiz was a great and caring surgeon and Larry has been great aon all my follow-ups. I would honestly recommend surgery and Dr. Feiz to anyone who struggles with weight issues! So happy I did!!
