Dr. Jeannette Israel, genetic counselor at Midwest Fertility Center, is one the country’s leading genetics experts. A member of the American Academy of Human Genetics and American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Israel consults with pregnant patients 35 years old or older regarding prenatal genetic testing.

A graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Dr. Israel received her M.D. from Chicago Medical School. Her internship was completed at Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital in Pediatrics as well as a fellowship in Genetics and Human Development.

Dr. Israel is a well-known instructor and lecturer in the Chicago land area and is an attending physician on staff at Copley Hospital, Silver Cross Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital, Palos Community Hospital, Central DuPage Hospital, and Christ Hospital. Many abstracts and publications presented in the field of pediatrics and genetics makes Dr. Israel a leading authority.
