In fact, she had some bad dental experiences as a child and only visited the dentist when something was wrong. As a result of sporatic dental care and the often extraction of a "tooth gone bad", she had some spaces in the back due to missing teeth and shifting of the remaining dentition. She knew her smile could use some work but didnt want to go through orthodontics to move teeth around. After explaining the pros/cons and limitations of what we could do, she decided to proceed. She was a great candidate for sedation and after going through 6 Finesse Bella porcelain fused to ceramic crowns, 1 dental implant, and a 4 unit bridge on the top teeth, she was ready for treatment on the lower. 1 implant, 5 porcelain fused to ceramic crowns and 2 root canals later, Teresa completed her smile makeover. It took close to a year to complete all of her work, but Teresa remarks "it was well worth it!" While she was undergoing all her dental work, Teresa had made a committment to stick to a new diet and exercise regieme and lost an incredible amount of weight and has successfully kept it off for some time now. Congratulations Teresa on all your accomplishments! She has even been more relaxed at her smaller dental appointments, foregoing the need for sedation.
