Case: 1955 Category: Breast Reconstruction Surgery Gender: Female Description: This is a 42-year old female who presents with post bilateral transaxillary polyurethane implants in 1989 but has developed ruptures of the implants with severe contractions. Her reconstructive procedure includes undergoing bilateral capsulectomy with the removal of the implanted silicon and placement of 300cc saline filled implants inflated to 350cc bilaterally. Note the improvement in breast symmetry.
