Our 17-member team includes two doctors, two physician assistants, two nurses, and supporting staff. We believe in one-on-one personal attention, taking the time to fully understand your needs, answering all of your questions and developing an optimal treatment plan. We offer a AAAASF-accredited private surgical suite in Williamsburg and offices in Williamsburg, Newport News and Gloucester.
Dr. Pitman and Dr. Wilson are compassionate surgeons whose training was completed at renowned national institutions with world leaders in plastic surgery. Both doctors have also completed additional fellowship training beyond that required to be a plastic surgeon. Dr. Pitman and Dr. Wilson have trained residents in surgery and plastic surgery, have numerous national publications and have participated in teaching other plastic surgeons at national and international meetings.
Dr. Pitman has been featured on MTV’s “I Want a Famous Face” and is active nationally with AAAASF, ASPS, and PSEF. Dr. Wilson, who is fellowship-trained in breast and aesthetic surgery, authored a significant book chapter on short scar breast reduction and a landmark paper on fat injection in the breast. Both doctors offer a comprehensive array of procedures to help you restore or enhance your appearance, including facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement, body contouring, post-bariatric cosmetic surgery. Our surgeons are assisted by a full-time cosmetic coordinator and certified physician-assistants, who bring an extra measure of safety and attention to detail to the practice.
We pride ourselves in taking sufficient time with each patient to thoroughly discuss treatment options and answer all their questions. Our staff strives to avoid the “assembly line” feel so common today in some practices.
Next to our office is a privately held free-standing ambulatory surgical center which allows us to offer lower cost surgical alternatives to patients without insurance. Most insurance is accepted, and many financing options are available for cosmetic procedures or patients without health insurance. We frequently treat patients from across the country and are happy to help with travel arrangements and accommodations.
