About Dr. Katona
Dr. Arthur Katona performed his first hair transplant procedure more than five years ago and has since limited his practice of medicine exclusively to hair restoration surgery. "Hair restoration involves a multitude of disciplines which include surgery, dermatology and pathology," he said. "I have had advanced training in all three."
Dr. Katona believes a well-rounded background in various surgical or medical subspecialties allows the doctor to bring better perspective and judgment to each patient. "One needs to take a multi-discipline approach to hair loss. The experience I have attained in surgery, dermatopathology and dermatology are directly related to hair loss and its treatments," he said. "To integrate these disciplines, fellowship training with the foremost physicians in hair restoration is critical."
For more than a year, Dr. Katona trained with Medical Hair Restoration Founder and Medical Director, Dr. Matt Leavitt. "The core of my training in hair restoration came via a demanding fellowship with Dr. Matt Leavitt. I just wanted to take the time to personally say thanks for the way you (and your staff) treated me last week. I can already tell that this type of grafting is going to give me a much more natural result than I had before. I've gone ahead and scheduled a 2nd procedure after the spring semester is over.
I've been trying to be a better patient (than in the past) and have been using the GraftCyte products as you instructed. I expect to have the sutures removed by next Monday.
Well I must let you get back to your patients (and I to my preparation for teaching calc online this spring). Things are changing and I've had to put down the chalk and pick up the computer......but it's the same math. Thanks so much again. Look forward to seeing you in the Spring.
