With > 20 years of practicing Obstetrics and backing up nurse midwives, Dr G honed his vulvovaginal aesthetic surgical skills by performing literally hundreds of repairs of often amazingly difficult tears of women’s labia, perineum and vagina caused by childbirth. It takes, patience, perserverance and meticulous surgical skill to perform a cosmetic repair on a tired, bloody, anatomically distorted and moving patient! This extensive experience “in the trenches” prepared him well for the cosmetic vulvovaginal procedures he has been performing for > 15 years.

What Vulvovaginal cosmetic (and other) services do we offer?

• Labiaplasty: Repair of redundant or “floppy” labia which cause embarrassment, discomfort or interfere with uninhibited sexual response.
• Perineoplasty Plastic repair and remodeling of the obstetrically damaged vaginal opening and re-approximation of the pelvic floor muscles if needed to make for a more alluring look and greater muscle control.
• Vaginoplasty (sometimes called “Vaginal Rejuvenation”): Tightening/narrowing the enlarged or “ballooned” upper vagina (often secondary to childbirth) to make for a more snug “fit” and better friction with lovemaking.
• Hymenoplasty: For cultural reasons, it is extremely important for some women to bleed upon consummation of marriage. A well-performed hymenoplasty well tightens the hymenal ring to make this a probability.
• Clitoral Unhooding: Frees the clitoris and increases sensitivity in the occasional woman with a “blanketed” clitoral hood.

Dr. Goodman is a gynecologist and super-specialist in only one type of women’s cosmetic surgery: that involving the vulva, vagina and pelvic organs. He doesn’t do nose jobs, breast or facial work, etc. He concentrates and specializes in intimate sexual areas, He is much more than just a good technician. He is a women’s artist who will LISTEN to you and achieve the results you wish. If he cannot do what you desire, he will be honest with you. And he won’t just “…cut ‘n go…” All surgical procedure preparation and post-op care includes sexuality counseling and information. Also INCLUDED in perineoplasty and vaginoplasty fees are 2 FREE 30-45 minute educational and therapeutic sessions with one of our area’s premier women’s pelvic floor physical therapists, teaching you how to tone and strengthen your newly repaired vagina and perineal musculature!

WHY ARE OUR FEES SO MUCH LOWER than other facilities?? We are a small office; low overhead, no fancy and expensive gadgets or large staff. But we still provide PERSONALIZED service some larger facilities lack. Additionally, Dr. Goodman has made amazingly cost-effective arrangements with local surgicenters and anesthesia, at fees ~ 25-50% lower than average.
