He is also a member of the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons and the French Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He has been an Examiner in Plastic Surgery for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Since returning to Canada in 1987, Dr. Pugash has built a busy cosmetic surgery practice that thrives on the referrals of satisfied patients.
Educational Background
Dr. Pugash obtained his bachelor of arts degree at Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He went on to complete his medical studies at Mcgill University in Montreal, obtaining his MD degree in 1979. Dr. Pugash did a five-year residency in plastic surgery at Mcgill, and became a fellow in plastic surgery of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1984.
Dr. Pugash went on to complete two years of additional training in plastic and cosmetic surgery in 1985 and 1986 in Paris, France. He returned to Canada and the lower mainland of British Columbia in 1987 to open his practice. He has been an examiner in plastic surgery for the Royal College, and is a member of the Canadian and American Societies of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the French Society of Plastic Surgery. He is on the medical staffs of the Royal Columbian, Eagle Ridge, Surrey, and Peace Arch hospitals. He practices extensively at the False Creek Surgery Centre in Vancouver and the Parklane Surgery Centre in Surrey.
