The SwansonCenter is located in Leawood's TownCenterPlaza area - one of Kansas City's most prestigious addresses.  Everything has been planned to meet your needs.  When you arrive, you'll step into a tranquil, luxurious atmosphere where you will be greeted by our attentive staff.

You'll see our auditorium where we hold seminars in the evening and educational exhibits during the day.  You'll visit our private examination and laser treatment rooms. In our skin care clinic, we provide consultations, facials, laser treatments and skin care products for maintaining your youthful appearance.

At the ultra modern SwansonCenter, we provide specialized care tailored to the needs of women and men having cosmetic surgery.  Our mission is to provide the highest level of surgical care with unsparing attention to comfort, safety, and privacy.  We have our ownon-site surgical facility for addedconvenience and the benefits that come from complete specialization in cosmetic surgery.  This attention continues with postoperative care.  We have a massage therapist on site for added comfort of our patients after surgery.

A Canadian by birth, Dr. Swanson completed a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto and a fellowship in cosmetic surgery in 1988.  Dr. Swanson moved to Kansas City in 1989, where he started private practice.  During 1991-1995 he served as Director of the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Clinic at Children's MercyHospital.  He also served as Director of the Residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City during 1991-1993.
    
In 1994, Dr. Swanson opened the Aesthetic Surgery Center of Kansas City, specializing in cosmetic surgery.  In 1998, he opened the SwansonCenter for Cosmetic & Laser Surgery.

Dr. Swanson is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the AmericanCollege of Surgeons. He is certified in plastic surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
