This 75 year old woman from Sun City Arizona consulted Dr. Justo at the Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center because she had serious visual limitations due to her sagging eyelids. After discussing with Dr. Justo at our Sun City West office, it was determined that she did indeed have droopy eyelids and excess fat and skin, but she also had loose eyelid muscles adding to the sagging of her eyelids. The patient underwent an upper lid blepharoplasty to remove the excess skin and also a muellerectomy to tighten the muscles. After the surgery, the patient was pleased with her overall appearance and felt immensely relieved to have her peripheral vision restored.
