What if your life didn't have to be one big stress?
What if you could stop self-sabotaging behaviors, end those debilitating patterns that keep
repeating over and over again and finally find some peace? What if you started to imagine
living a life filled with hope instead of one hobbled by self-doubt and pain?
My practice is called "Finding Strength Within" because I believe therapy is a powerful process
which can lead you to a place of self-acceptance, understanding and ultimately, greater
relationship happiness and life success. As a former coach of Olympic athletes, I have a
particular perspective on finding and developing a solid self as the basis for healthy
interpersonal relationships.
I generally approach therapy by looking at the unconscious processes at the root of emotional
pain. I also look at the influences of environmental, biological and psychological elements of
early relationships and link those experiences to current issues so that you can increase awareness
and ultimately, make new, healthier choices. I let you come to your own decisions and
awareness in your own time. I am not a "head nodder," however, I do give feedback and
will work collaboratively with you on a treatment plan from the first session.
If you are ready to move beyond suffering the debilitating pain and repeating patterns that
rule your life, I am ready to help you. By finding strength within, you will face each new
challenge with renewed strength, emotional flexibility and joy. I look forward to working with
you on your journey towards mental health.
