Dr. Friedman is certified to provide a range of services for individuals with addiction problems, including detoxification using buprenorphine (Suboxone).
In addition to treatment of addictive and compulsive disorders. Dr. Friedman's practice includes specialized women's mental health services, including evaluation during the perimenopause, infertility counseling, parenting coaching, and treatment of eating disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Friedman sees women who develop depression or other problems during pregnancy or post-partum, or who want to know how to manage their psychiatric medication during pregnancy.
Additionally, Dr. Friedman works in neuropsychiatry and geriatric psychiatry, and sees patients for both medication management and psychotherapy.
