As a decorated member of his profession, he has been on the prestigious list of Miami Metro Magazine's "Best Doctors in South Florida" five times. Dr. Pillersdorf also served as the President of Palm Beach County Medical Society in 2003 as well as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at JFK Medical Center for 8 years. From 2003-2004, Dr. Pillersdorf held a teaching appointment at Nova Southeastern University as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Surgery.
