Dr. Onelio Garcia is a Board Certified plastic surgeon who specializes in Cosmetic Surgery. Founder of The Plastic Surgery Center of South Florida he has performed over 10,000 plastic surgery procedures.

Dr. Onelio Garcia is a Board Certified plastic surgeon who specializes in Cosmetic Surgery. In 1985 following extensive training in general surgery and plastic surgery at University Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, he founded "Plastic Surgery Center of South Florida" devoted solely to cosmetic surgery. Since that time he has performed over 10,000 plastic surgery procedures.

The doctor is very active academically and has received the prestigious "Recognition Award" for continuing education in plastic surgery from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the "Certificate of Advance Education in Cosmetic Surgery" from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a voluntary assistant clinically professor in the division of plastic surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine and has served as visiting faculty in plastic surgery at University Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. His work has been published in nationally and internationally recognized plastic surgery journals and he has lectured extensively on various plastic surgery topics, nationally and abroad.

Plastic Surgery Center of South Florida opened in 1985 following extensive design by a noted hospital architect. This fully equipped, state of the art facility was designed to provide the utmost in comfort and safety for the cosmetic surgery patient. Our surgical suite and recovery area possess the latest in anesthesia and monitoring equipment. The center currently enjoys full certification from the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF) to perform the full spectrum of plastic surgery procedures. Our director of anesthesia services is a fully trained physician anesthesiologist with over 20 years experience in the field of plastic surgery.
