Dr. Jeffrey B. Lieberman, is a nationally and California State Board licensed optometrist that practices, "Primary and Advanced Eye Care".
As an optometrist, Dr. Lieberman's goal is to provide his patients with the highest quality of eye care. He holds a therapeutic pharmaceutical license. This is the highest level of of education and training for an optometrist. He can diagnose and evaluate eye problems, eye injuries and provide treatment to a variety of eye diseases. Dr. Lieberman is certified to treat glaucoma. He treats dry and allergy eyes as well as, examine for glasses and contact lenses.
A graduate of California State University, Northridge and the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry. Dr. Lieberman received his doctorate in 1989. His training was completed in northern California at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, Oak Knoll Hospital in Oakland, and at Mare Island Eye Clinic in Vallejo, California.
Prior to his optometric training, Dr. Lieberman was a Master Optician for ten years with an extensive background in all optical laboratory sciences and procedures.
His on going refractive surgery co-management training and his experience with refractive surgery since 1996 provides his patients with the best care available and assures that his patients will get state of the art evaluation and analysis for "LASIK", Laser Vision Correction and lens replacement corrective therapy.
Dr. Lieberman is an active member of the American Optometric and California Optometric Associations. He is a "Past President" of the San Fernando Valley optometric society. He currently holds a position on that board of directors.
Dr. Lieberman held the position of Director, Professional Relations for TLC Laser Centers, Encino, California from 2002 to 2006.
He is active in his local Chamber of Commerce and "The Westlakers", a local community service organization.
