JACKSONVILLE OPTOMETRY

Dr. Lancaster entered private practice in Tallahassee, Florida in 1980. Since entering private practice, Dr. Lancaster has served as President and Vice-President of the Northwest Florida Optometric Association, Chairman of Assistance to Graduates and Undergraduates of the Florida Optometric Association and as the Optometric Coordinator of the Leon County Project Insight. He has also served as a State of Florida Optometric Board Examiner and on the Education Committee of the Southern Council of Optometry. Dr. Lancaster has been a Board Member of the Children’s Miracle Network as well as has lectured internationally on topic including contact lenses, ocular disease and refractive surgical care. He has served as clinical investigator in contact lenses and drug research studies and has been a member o the Southern Council of Optometry since 1984.

Dr. Lancaster joined Atlantic Eye Institute in 1999. He brings to this practice his skill in primary eye care and ocular disease, the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and the pre- and post- surgical care of cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgery patients. He is a widely recognized authority in the fitting of all types of contact lenses and in the treatment of dry eye syndrome. Dr. Lancaster is also certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy.
