David A. Lee, MD is a professor of ophthalmology at the Albert Florens Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina.
Dr. Lee is an internationally renowned eye physician and surgeon, and recognized for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, particularly the most difficult cases. He also has extensive experience in basic and clinical research in glaucoma and other eye diseases and has received millions of dollars in research grant funding to support glaucoma related research projects. Prior to his appointment to the faculty at MUSC, Dr. Lee was the endowed university professor and chairman of the department of ophthalmology at the Penn State College of Medicine, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
