About Richard L. Simmons, M.D. - Jacksonville, Florida (FL)

Since entering private practice in Jacksonville, Dr. Simmons has served as Chief/Section of Ophthalmology at St. Vincent’s Hospital and as Clinical Professor or Ophthalmology for the University of Florida Medical School. He was recognized by “Leadership Jacksonville” in 1985. Dr. Simmons is a clinical investigator in glaucoma drug research Studies and has been performing refractive surgery since 1983. He donates cataract surgery to the community through the Gift of Sight Program.
