Dr. Lueth is now certified to implant Crystalens Accommodative intraocular lenses made by Eyeonics. Crystalens have been proven as an effective treatment for some patients with presbyopia (loss of near vision after 40). Dr. Lueth himself has had the Crystalens procedure and is the first practicing ophthalmologist in the U.S. to have these newly-FDA-approved lens implants surgically placed in his own eyes.
