When considering getting rid of a little fat, tightening the skin around your face and neck or wanting to lift or tighten parts of your body that were once perky but are now saggy. It is important to choose a surgeon whose training and skills represent the most reputable available. You may feel that any doctor can do what they claim but it’s important for your safety and appearance that you choose wisely.
My training and professional contributions to my field exceed standard protocols, with five years of extra study and training, just the face alone.
I attended Emory University and the University of Georgia finishing with majors in molecular biology, microbiology, and entomology. After graduation I attended the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri.
I completed one year of flexible internship emphasizing surgery and then completed an additional year of general surgery at The Medical College of Georgia. I was very fortunate in then being accepted into the very competitive Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery residency at The Medical College of Georgia.
During my residency the Head and Neck residencies increased from four years to five years and so I was able to serve as Chief Resident for tow years. During my last two years I was very fortunate in being able to train with two Plastic Surgery/Facial Plastic Surgery/ Head & Neck surgeons affording me a “fellowship,” if you will, and giving me training in all aspects of Plastic/Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery. |
