Dr. Grace Liu completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego with a double major in molecular and cell biology. During her studies she was active in research both at the medical school and at the prestigious Salk Institute for Biological Sciences.
She attended the University of California, Irvine Medical School and graduated in the top of her class with many honors. She was awarded a research fellowship to pursue a project in Dermatology which ultimately culminated in co-authorship on a pivotal paper on psoriasis.
After graduating medical school, she completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. She returned to the University of California Irvine Medical Center for her residency in Dermatology.
After residency, she has remained active in teaching at the UC Irvine Medical Center as as an Associate Clinical Faculty Member. Her hospital affiliations include the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange and Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach.
She is a Board Certified Member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She also is a member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
