Lee Institute of Plastic Surgery utilizes the anesthesia services of several outstanding Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists who are fully licensed by the California Board of Registered Nursing as both Nurse and Nurse Anesthetist. They have years of experience in providing both proficient and caring anesthesia services in the outpatient setting. In addition they are fully ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified. Your safety is the number 1 priority of our entire surgical staff.

Dr. Lee is a true plastic and reconstructive surgeon, having been trained to deal with all parts of the human body. His training spanned the realms of craniofacial, burn, breast and tumor reconstructive, hand and soft tissue trauma, congenital deformity, cleft lip and palate, microscopic, and aesthetic surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc., the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to perform aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. He is also a member of the Greater Sacramento Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic SUrgeons, Inc., the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Inc., the Sierra-Sacramento Valley Medical Society, and the California Medical Association.
Dr. Lee was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley where he majored in Molecular & Cell Biology and minored in Business Administration. He obtained his medical degree from the Albany Medical College in New York.
Pursuing warmer climates, Dr. Lee completed an extensive General Surgery residency at the University Of South Florida College of medicine in Tampa, Florida. There, he underwent cutting-edge training in surgical oncology at the world-renown Moffitt Cancer Center, dealing with skin and breast malignancies as well as gastrointestinal disorders. During this general surgical training period, he spent 5 + years taking care of critically ill patients both as a trauma surgeon and surgical critical care intensivist. His creative nature, however, directed him towards a career in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and eventually to complete his training at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Being in one of the top residency programs in the country allowed him the opportunity to perform over 2000 plastic/cosmetic and reconstructive procedures during the last two years of his training.
