William H. Constad MD completed his ophthalmology residency at UMDNJ and then furthered his training by completing a Fellowship in diseases and surgeries of the Cornea with Dr. Jorge Buxton at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Constad joined HEPS in 1985, practicing general ophthalmology and specializing in diseases and surgeries of the cornea, including refractive surgery. Dr. Constad is Clinical Professor at UMDNJ and actively participates in teaching and research. He serves on the editorial board for the Mount Sinai Journal of Medicine, and has contributed numerous articles and textbook chapters to ophthalmic literature. Dr. Constad is currently the Medical Director of the New Jersey Lion's Eye Bank as well as serving on its Board of Trustees. Dr. Constad was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1985. Dr. Constad has been listed as one of the TOP DOCTORS in the New York Metropolitan Area and in New Jersey. |
