At Emory Vision, you are treated like an individual and your care is customized at every stage of the process. Everyone’s eyes are unique, so we do not take an assembly-line approach to eye surgery.
LASIK surgery is very successful in treating many common vision problems, but it is not for everyone. At Emory Vision, we can thoroughly evaluate your individual needs and determine the type of refractive surgery, if any, that would be appropriate for correcting your vision.
Thanks to everyone at Emory Vision, and especially Dr. R. Doyle Stulting, for the BEST medical experience I have ever had! I recently had LASIK surgery performed on my right eye to improve my distance vision. The surgery improved my vision from 80/20 to 20/20 and it's getting better and better each day. I haven't seen this well since 6th grade!!!! The results are simply amazing!!! I can't believe that I delayed this surgery for years. I wish I would have done it a lot sooner.
While the results are fantastic, I wanted to let you know about my experience as a customer. Yes that's right. CUSTOMER not patient! I have had six major surgical experiences in my 49 years, some elective and some not, so I have a solid basis of comparison. In my past medical experiences, I have always felt like a patient. Someone who is put through the paces and procedures by technically competent personnel with little concern for me as a human being. As a former Vice President of Quality for a major Fortune 500 company and a consultant who teaches many Fortune 500 companies about superior customer service, I have to say that the team at Emory Vision is the best I have ever encountered. Everyone was extremely pleasant and friendly. Each person I interacted with knew my name, seemed genuinely pleased to be a part of the Emory Vision Team, and spent as much time as I needed to get comfortable with the procedure. How refreshing! I will highly recommend this superior team to my friends, family and business associates. Keep up the fantastic work!
