After finishing my ophthalmology residency training in 1983, I decided to sub specialize in corneal transplantation surgery and refractive surgery. It was very rewarding to restore vision to thousands of patients who needed corneal transplantation or complex vision restoring procedures. I taught many physicians and ophthalmology residents these complex procedures. It was not until 1994 that I decided to limit my career to Laser Vision Correction.
