Educational Background
The breadth and depth of his knowledge has brought invitations for lectures from across the United States as well as internationally. As a visiting assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, he devoted two additional years of specialized training and research in laser and refractive surgery and to develop new laser and refractive techniques for correcting nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Dr. Manche has also published numerous articles, abstracts and book chapters on the subject of refractive surgery. Dr. Manche and his work have also been featured on numerous news telecasts.
