LASIK Eye Surgery Doctors in Wichita, Kansas

Dr. Jeffrey Boomer is a Board Certified ophthalmologist that specializes in laser vision correction, corneal transplants and cataract surgery. During his residency and fellowship years, Dr. Boomer researched several technologies that are directed towards aiding difficult surgeries.

Dr. Bruce B. Ochsner, M.D., founded the Center in 1986 in an effort to make quality eye care more accessible, affordable, and convenient for Wichita area residents. In 1998, Dr. David A. Kingrey, M.D., joined the Center, bringing years of eye care expertise to serve our patients.

Dr. Kingrey joined the Center in 1998. He is a native of Wichita and a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the Ohio State University Havener Eye Center in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to coming to Wichita, he did eye surgery with the National Health Service of England.
Dr. Kingrey is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Ochsner is a native of Kansas who first started practicing in Wichita in 1974, before having founded the Ochsner Eye Medical/ Surgical Center in 1986. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School, and completed a residency in ophthalmology at Wayne State University Kresge Eye Institute, Detroit, Michigan. Prior to coming to Wichita, he began his practice in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1972.
