Dr. Rafael A. Cabrera is Medical Director of Houston IVF and is board-certified in both Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Prior to joining Houston IVF, Dr. Cabrera served as the Acting Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Walter Reed Medical Center. Dr. Cabrera has over ten years of experience in instruction, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. He was on the faculty of the Combined NICHD/Federal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He also served as Instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School and at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.
