 Dr. Rothman is committed to staying current on advanced technologies in dentistry and oral surgery. He became board certified in 1978 and maintains an active participant in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Rothman travels nationally and internationally to attend conferences related to Oral Surgery and Implantology. His contributions to the community included being past president of the Alexandria Dental Society. He is currently the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry at INOVA Alexandria Hospital. He has lectured in facial reconstruction with bone grafting and in dental implant reconstruction.
Dr Rothman is well trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has a special interest in implant reconstructive surgery procedures that require bone grafting. |

Dr. Jeffrey Rothman joined the practice in 2003 after completing his four year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. In 1994, Dr. Rothman earned his Bachelors degree at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and subsequently obtained his dental degree from the University Of Maryland School Of Dental Surgery in 1999. Dr. Rothman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dental School and was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
