Botox injections are done in the office to treat dynamic lines of the brow, forehead and crows feet areas. They consist of a few injections with a very small needle and work by temporarily paralyzing the affected muscles. It takes a few days to take affect and lasts about 3.5 months on the average. Botox is also used to treat headaches, muscle twitching and excessive sweating of the palms and underarms. Ideal Candidate:

CONSULTATIONS Consultations cost $60 which is subtracted from the cost of surgery. At the beginning of the consultation, after completing the preliminary paper work, the patient talks with Dr. McMahan in his office about the procedures that he or she is interested in. Brochures and consent forms are critically reviewed which discuss details of the procedure(s), risks, and what is done to minimize those risks. Following a detailed examination, a cost analysis is provided along with a list of medications to avoid prior to surgery. A packet of literature is given to each patient.
