When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
I knew that I wanted to pursue a career as a surgeon at an early age because becoming a surgeon would be a way to help people. I was exposed to plastic surgery during my ENT residency and was attracted to this field because it gave me the ability to help my patients look good as well as feel good.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
My favorite surgical procedure is a small-incision, minimal-downtime, facelift. My patients and I have embraced this procedure with great enthusiasm since social activities are typically resumed in around 2 weeks, and results are completely natural. The exact operation I'm performing on most people is the European MACS-Lift. This technique allows me to avoid typical facelift stigmata such as visible scars, changes in hairline position, or a "wind-swept" appearance. Surgery can be performed under
