Janna Bentley MD, CCFP, BSc(Hon), RVT, ABPh, joined the Kelowna Vein and Laser Centre in June 2005 and began her career in phlebology. In the fall of 2005 she joined the Okanagan Vein & Skin Care Centre, as well as the medical staff at Kelowna General Hospital. In 2009, Dr. Bentley & Dr. Wong expanded: creating the all new "Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic."

A native of Chatham, New Jersey, Dr. Buhrer attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where he obtained his degree and completed post-graduate training in general surgery. He completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Texas in Galveston, Texas. During his residency, Dr. Buhrer distinguished himself as a specialist in the innovative treatment of pediatric burns. He then completed his cosmetic surgery training with world-renowned Dr. Baker in Miami, Florida. He served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at North Arundel Hospital.
