Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
I love working with patients and being a part of their lives. It is a very personal experience when they come to us for help. I customize each treatment program for every patient so as to fit their own needs and budgets. My appointments are long and I spend as much time as they need to answer all their questions.I cherish each patient allowing me to be a part of their life.
I do all the procedures myself. A technician does not perform the procedures. Each patient is special to me.
What is your favorite quote or saying?
Do onto others as you would have done to you.
What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
I love my specialty because it is so visual. I can usually look at a problem and know very quickly what the diagnosis is and how to treat it.
When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
I knew in 6th grade that I wanted to be in a medical field. I loved to babysit for doctors so that I could read their text books.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
I love to do all procedures that entail working with my hands. I love treating spider veins because I know that I can make them go away. The patient has hated them for years and will finally be able to wear shorts , skirts and bathing suits without embarrassment.
I also love to do all cosmetic injections to improve a patient's self esteem.
