Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
A patient recently had a complete mouth restoration and mentioned after the completed case that not only did the overall experience improve the smile but ended the headaches this patient had been experiencing as well. This made the procedure so much more fullfilling to have made a difference in the life of this patient.
What is your charity organization of choice and why?
Breast Cancer Awareness is close to our office team's hearts.
What does living in the Columbus community mean to you?
Ohio State Buckeye Supporters!!!!
What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
Neuromuscular Dentistry allows us to help all patients by looking at them individually and customize their treatment to suit their unique mouth and teeth.
When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
I decided that dentistry would be in my future when I was a teenager. I spent so much time in the dental chair as a patient that I felt that I knew enough about the field to take an interest in it and learn all there was to learn and become best dentist I could be.
Can you tell us in your own words what you consider a perfect outcome of a surgical procedure?
A patient that can smile all the time and feel great doing so!
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
Restoration of a beautiful smile.
What procedure would you like to do more of and why?
I love to the best choice for patients seeking dental options. This will be unique to each patient since there are so many choices.
In a perfect world, when would you like to retire, where would you go and what would you do?
I know that wherever I would be, would have to be near my family and children. For now that is where I am.
