Educational Background

William Portuese received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1985.

He completed his internship at Louisiana State University Hospital in Shreveport (1985-1986) specializing in general surgery.

His residency took place at Louisiana State University hospital (1986-1990) where he specialized in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Portuese underwent his Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the Lasky Clinic (Beverly Hills CA) under the direction of Dr. Frank Kamer. Dr. Kamer is an internationally renowned facial plastic surgeon.

 Dr. Portuese's additional training and certifications include: Surgical Laser - LSU Medical Center CO Endoscopic Sinus Surgery - University of Texas (Galveston) Laser Course - University of Tennessee (Nashville)
