in Dec 08, and she did a
fantastic job. She took away all
the excess skin on my stomach,
repaired my muscles, and as a
result of her great skills she
gave me a waistline that I've
never had before!! Her skill and
practice methods are of the
highest standard, and they yield
great results! I'm just so pleased
that I chose her as my plastic
surgeon.
Her staff treated me like a
family member, and they
continue to be extremely warm
and very helpful throughout the
healing process.
Dr. Gordon spent a lot of time
with me, answering all my
questions at both my pre-op
and post op appointments. I
never felt rushed, awkward, or
afraid to ask questions, which is
very important when you
consider how personal this

Austin, TX | | Prior to my visit to Dr. Ashley Gordon, I had been looking both in Austin and Houston. I had several consults over a 2 year period. I feel like I have researched enough and met enough of the surgeons to know that I could make an educated decision about my body. I even had 1 surgeon in Houston draw me naked and point out all of my body?s flaws!
I truly believe when we are really ready to make a change it affects both your PHYSICAL BODY and your EMOTIONAL BODY, as well as yourself image. Dr. Gordon is 1 of the 8% of FEMALE plastic surgeons in the US. That impressed me! Not only was she female and could make that mind, body, soul connection, but she persevered in a field where its VERY difficult to succeed. That spoke volumes to me.
I wanted a surgeon who could do my breast augmentation AND after I have a baby, do my tummy tuck. Prior to surgery I had spent a total of 5 hours in 3 different visits to Restora-Austin. I spent that time with the AMAZING office staff and with Dr. Gordon. That is the difference between her and every surgeon you have been to see so far! That is also why we ?clicked? she knew what I wanted and how to get there. I feel better BOTH inside and out. I have and will continue to recommend people to Dr. Ashley Gordon for years to come!

Austin, TX | | Today is the three month mark of the best decision I made regarding my own personal health and emotional well being. I am 3 months post-op today having had breast reduction surgery by Dr. Ashley Gordon of Restora Austin. Having researched this procedure for over 10 years, my expectations and fear levels were equally high. For years, I had suffered with pain in just about every area of my upper body-back, shoulders, neck, had deep grooves in my shoulders from the bra straps, couldn't find bras much less clothing to fit me..and forget bathing suits. And, of course, my self esteem was pretty poor. Since I had heard all the horror stories, saw all the awful pictures and even suffered through first hand a previous surgical experience that was far from pleasant, I lived with all of this pain and embarrassment for well over half of my adult life. It takes a lot of trust to put oneself into a surgeon's hands-to alter a part of the female body that is so very personal. For me, it would take a great deal of trust in my doctor. I knew I wanted a female surgeon-one who could understand why it is so important for me to 'look' natural-I had looked unnatural most of my adult life (26 years). I wanted to 'feel' confident about myself-not to be noticed for my breasts-I wanted to have the curves that are natural in a female body. I wanted an artist-a surgeon with an eye for natural beauty. When I first met Dr. Gordon, it was like a chat with a really good friend. A very casual and safe environment, never pushy, never a 'sales job'...always on my time table...when I was ready to move to the next level-they would be ready, too. Dr. Gordon has a unique communication style-straight forward, factual...but with a sense of genuine care, support and concern. I wasn't promised the moon-I was given all the information open and honestly. ALL my questions were answered-and I had many-some repetitive. There's a difference in answering questions-and supporting a patient's desired outcome in a realistic honest manner. In this, she is also gifted. But, all of this doesn't make a surgery experience positive. With the support of her own office team-all who share the same common philosophy of building trust, honoring my timeline, having my experience be a positive experience, the whole process was significantly enhanced. It is reassuring when, no matter who the question is asked of, the answers follow along the same philosophy of the doctor. Each team member in Dr. Gordon's office brings a unique talent to the process-each with their own unique ways of bringing comfort and confidence to a patient. Dr. Gordon aligns herself with the top notch surgery support team as well-from the surgical facility, the nurses, and the anesthesiologist-all top notch. There is a common thread that runs through the entire process-everyone is on the same page. Of course, the big question is how did my surgery turn out? EXCEPTIONAL. I knew what size I did not want to be...but trusted in Dr. Gordon's ability to choose the right size for my frame, height, weight, etc. There is definitely an 'art' to this procedure. I went from a size I to a full D. Over 2400 grams removed, over 5 pounds. My scarring is so minimal it's unreal. There is NO wide open scars-nothing like the horrible photos. I was not sick, did not have a sore throat from the breathing tube, and had no pain-slight discomfort-but no pain. I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with the results. I'm happier, more confident-and definitely feel the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. Immediately, the pain I had experienced for so very long was gone. It's really nice when someone says to me that I've lost a lot of weight! It?s amazing how this surgery has changed my physical appearance as well as my emotional well being. Of course, it is a two way partnership-the patient must follow the doctor's orders. Dr. Gordon recommends those little extras that make a huge difference. Listen to her-she knows her stuff! My best friend has already had two procedures with Dr. Gordon-both with exceptional outcomes. My mother-in-law (who I dearly love!) is scheduled for treatment as well. I will continue to recommend Dr. Gordon to everyone I can and would be happy to answer any of your questions. I found Dr. Gordon through this exact website-researching much like you are doing now. If I could change one thing it would be to have had this surgery with Dr. Gordon years earlier. Dr. Gordon has a keen sense of the natural curves that makes a woman beautiful and works to create that outcome; the result is my perfectly sculptured figure. I look and feel wonderful! I never thought I could look this good!
When I began looking for a plastic surgeon, I researched many doctors? websites looking for strong credentials. Dr. Gordon?s are stellar. Moreover, I was looking for a woman doctor for this very important surgery. In my opinion, only a woman understands and relates to another woman?s thoughts, fears and needs and Dr. Gordon was a star at relating and communicating with a calm compassionate manner.
I had had a two other consultations with plastic surgeons prior to meeting Dr. Gordon and both my husband and I felt that she answered our questions the most thoroughly. She never seemed pressured, hurried or offended when we went through our long list of questions. I always felt that I had her full attention when she was with me; even AFTER the surgery. I liked that..I was important to her?that?s impressive.

Georgetown, TX | | It all started with swimsuit shopping on May 3, 2008. An entire day of trying on different swimsuits from several stores only to realize that NONE of them fit. Finally going to Just Add Water and spending $150 on a suit hoping I would feel "Beautiful" only to return the suit because for that much money I still felt self conscience of my flat chest. This was the event that started my desperate search for "change".
I read everything I could find online about the pros and cons. I looked at thousands, yes thousands of before and after pictures wondering if I would really feel differently about my appearance after having breast augmentation. Would this help me be more confident on the beach in a swimsuit? Would I regret spending the money? How would this change me? What would people think of me? The questions consumed my thinking and yet I knew that I would only truly regret NOT finding out for myself.
May 12, 2008 I and my husband walked into Dr. Gordon's office. The staff was professional and courteous beyond what I could have imagined. Questions were answered with honesty about what I could expect. The best part was trying on the sizers for a peek at what could be my result. I knew before I left the office that Dr. Gordon was the surgeon for me since she too was a woman that had experienced the same surgery. Never denying that complications were possible and the risks though small existed. I came home called to set the date for my "Big Day".
May 23, 2008 was my surgery date. Nervous and excited I arrived at the surgical center. Long story short, I never tell a short story, the surgery was completed and soon I was home with my "new boobs". I called everybody I knew to let them know I was ok. My husband became my nurse and a fabulous nurse he was to me. I could not have survived the following days without him. There was pain but I continued to hope the result would make this worth it.
May 23, 2009 we went to Lake Whitney with new camping friends. I had purchased THREE new bikinis for the trip. I did NOT spend $150 on these suits instead only $15 each. I slipped on the red and white suit to join our friends on the boat. I felt confident in my bikini. The two other women commented on how cute the suit looked. Only a year ago I was in tears trying to find a swimsuit that made me feel like a beautiful "woman". A year ago I would have spent the entire time on the boat feeling self conscience and hiding under a shirt wondering what it might feel like to not be embarrased of my body. I can tell you it felt FABULOUS! So good in fact that I tried wakeboarding for the first time. The following weekend was a repeat with great comments about a different swimsuit top.
There are not enough words to express how much this has changed how I feel about my appearance though I have managed to use alot. When I look in the mirror I no longer avoid looking at my breasts but instead smile. Buying new clothes and swimsuits is quickly becoming my favorite hobby if you ask my husband. Last year I owned one ugly swimsuit that was 10 years old. This year I own 7 different bikinis and wear them with confidence. I know it may seem silly to other women who were naturally endowed but for me I can honestly now "I feel like a woman".
Thank you Dr. Gordon and staff for being part of this journey. I'm almost 40 years old but feel like a teenager whose body just blossomed. I am still the same person inside with all my funny quirks I just feel alot better about my appearance. The cost of the surgery was nothing compared to the priceless gift of loving my improved body. Thank you from the bottom of my heart which happens to be covered up with some really cute boobies. LOL

I had a few consultations, but I was lucky enough to find Dr. Gordon, and have her perform the breast augmentation on me. It's only been a week since my surgery, and I am truly amazed. I am amazed by the results; they feel and look totally natural. Not just that-they're perfect! I am eternally grateful for everything she has done. The staff at Restora was unbelievable.
