By invitation of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, he has acted as an Instructional Lecturer for a decade, teaching techniques to plastic surgeons in Dallas, San Antonio, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, New Orleans, Orlando, Boston, Philadelphia, and Montreal.
Dr. Friedman has been selected by his peers as one of the Best Plastic Surgeons in Dallas by D Magazine (2006). He has also been named a Texas Super Doctor (2004, 2005, 2006) by Texas Monthly (awarded to fewer than 5% of Texas physicians).
A Gifted Wood and Marble Sculptor, Dr. Friedman's work has been displayed in several galleries and is part of many private collections.
Dr. Friedman has also been a Pianist and Songwriter for over 30 years. He had the privilege of performing his songs live on FOX-4 television (The Good Day Show), as an introduction to a speech by Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and for a crowd of 17,000 in San Antonio. Dr. Friedman serves as the Director of the West Plano Plastic Surgery Center, a nationally-accredited surgery center, conveniently located on the campus of Presbyterian Hospital of Plano.
