Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
We have gone to Nepal for volunteer mission work many times. Being able to reconstruct severely deformed children's faces and making it possible for them to function normally in their society has been extremely rewarding. I feel like I receive much more than I am able to give in these situations.
What is your charity organization of choice and why?
Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity. They care for the very poor and underprivileged all over the world. The Sisters are such radiant beings and care so much for their patients and their families. We had the good fortune to meet with Mother Teresa in Calcutta, India 2 years before her death. That was a truly enlightening experience and one of the highlights of my life.
What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
I truly enjoy working with patients to get the best possible cosmetic result for them. I am very detail oriented and love art and sculpture. These interests are an asset for having an aesthetic awareness and coupled with my perfectionist personality I am determined to try to deliver each patient an excellent result from their surgical procedure.

Can you tell us in your own words what you consider a perfect outcome of a surgical procedure?
The perfect surgical result is when the patient is completely satisfied with their result and I too am pleased. I like patients to look very natural after their surgery and I truly dislike patients to have an "operated" look. I also would prefer if there were no complications to the surgical procedure.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
Facial rejuvenation in the broad sense which includes less invasive non surgical procedures as well as browlift, blepharoplasty,endoscopic facial procedures, face/neck lifts and rhinoplasty. I have spent years acquiring the skills to do these procedures and enjoy the opportunity to use my talent to achieve the results that patients are looking for when they choose me to care for them.
